We will be having a SNEKA meeting and killifish auction Wednesday, May 29, 2019. A couple of SNEKA members are going to the AKA Convention this weekend in Detroit and will be bringing back fish for those who couldn’t attend.  These killies will be auctioned at the meeting.  Since this meeting’s purpose is to auction killies from the convention, it will be a no-dues meeting

We also have a new location for our meetings. The Szechuan Garden Chinese Restaurant, Medway Plaza (Signs say Medway Place), 106B Main Street (Rt 109), Medway, MA. It is easy to get to from Rt. 495 and only 5 minutes away from Uncle Ned’s Fish Factory. The restaurant is in the same plaza as Ocean State Job Lot. It is across the street from a Burger King and Mobil Gas Station and right next to a Shell Gas Station.Their phone number is (508) 533-8888.

The Szechuan Garden is expecting is at 7:00 PM. They have a full bar and you can either chose from the Dinner Buffet or order from the menu. We will meet at 7:00 for dinner and will not start the auction before 8:00.

If you have never been to Uncle Ned’s Fish Factory I suggest you stop there before dinner. Uncle Ned specializes in rare fish you will not likely find elsewhere. He doesn’t have many killies, but he has a large selection of Corydoras, L-number plecos and other catfish. He also has a lot of tetras and nanofish, many rare cichlids and other hard-to-find fish. Plan to spend at least 45 minutes here.

I hope to see many of you there. One never knows what will show up at the convention and we will be bringing back a variety of killies not currently being kept in the area.
